Mission Cooperative Plan

ChileSister Michael MarieAIM USA staff member Sister ThereseMonks at Christ in the Desert

Another vital source of support for AIM USA is the Missionary Cooperative Plan (MCP)—a program coordinated through the Propagation of the Faith Offices in the dioceses of the United States. Through the MCP program, AIM USA is invited to give appeals in assigned parishes. Speakers (sisters, monks, oblates, and friends) who live as near as possible to the assigned parishes are requested to present the appeals. These appeals create awareness of the needs of developing Benedictine/Cistercian monasteries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, and provide information concerning the role that AIM USA plays in meeting those needs. In turn, the parishioners who hear the appeals respond prayerfully and generously with their financial support.

As part of the 2016 Missionary Cooperative Plan (MCP) coordinated through The Society for the Propagation of Faith Office/Mission Office in each diocese of the United States, mission appeals for AIM USA will be presented in the following dioceses:
     Beaumont, TX
     Camden, NJ
     Cleveland, OH
     Erie, PA
     Manchester, NH
     Metuchen, NJ
